Masons' Haematology gift
The Haematololgy Clinic were delighted to show the Northampton and Huntingdon Freemasons the new electric recliner chairs and scales which had been bought following their generous donation.
Annette Steele, sister for haematology out-patients, said: "We would like to thank the Freemasons for their generosity and support in providing the haematology treatment room with two electric recliners and stand on scales. The electric recliners provide real comfort and allow patients to adjust and maintain dignity and independence whilst undergoing treatment which can last from 1hr - 6hrs. The stand on electric scales, provide acute rate and BMI measurements which are essential for accurate chemotherapy dosage."
