"I am going to swim a Kilometre per day for 30 days in the pool at my Esporta Health Club.
Many people have asked me why I want to raise money for Northampton General Hospital. The reason is simple. The hospital is used by all the community and indeed I am sure that every person knows someone who has had to make use of the services the hospital has to offer. I am happy to raise money for the hospital and therefore enable it to give its patients visitors and staff something extra.
Many people say that we already pay for the NHS and its services through our taxes. Yes we do, but by me raising some extra money for Northampton Hospital Charitable Fund I feel that I am helping those who can and do help others. I have decided to get involved and I would certainly encourage other people to do the same."
