Thank you for deciding to make a donation to the NGH Charitable Fund. Donations made through the NGH Charitable Fund will directly benefit Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust, its patients, staff and visitors.

NGH Charitable Fund manages donations made to the hospital. NGH Charitable Fund is completely separate from the NHS and the hospital trust, although both work very closely together.

You can make a donation for the general purposes of the Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust, a specific department within the hospital, or towards an ongoing appeal. See below to find out how.

Gift Aid

Under the Gift Aid scheme, UK charities can claim back the basic rate tax already paid on gifts of money received from individuals who pay or have paid UK tax. In practice this means that for every pound you give, we can claim back tax of 25p, and the government will pay an additional 3p on every £1 up to 5th April 2011, at no extra cost to you.
